Description

The Cable Slicing Machine is a precision laboratory instrument designed for preparing uniform cable and wire samples for testing in accordance with IS 10810 (Part 33) water absorption test (gravimetric). It ensures accurate slicing of cable insulation and sheath layers without deforming or damaging the cable insulation, enabling reliable physical and mechanical testing of cables in quality control labs, R&D centers, and cable manufacturing plants.

Standard Requirements (IS 10810 Part 33)

Cable Slicing machine is designed to prepare test samples of insulation and sheath with uniform thickness and smooth surface as required under IS 10810 (Part 33) as per AMENDMENT NO. 2 SEPTEMBER 2007 for WATER ABSORPTION TEST (GRAVIMETRIC)

Prepared samples shall be free from cuts, notches, or mechanical damage that may affect test results.
