Impact Tester – Accurate Material Impact Resistance Testing

This Impact Tester is engineered for precise evaluation of material toughness, durability, and resistance to sudden mechanical impact. Designed in compliance with IEC 61386 and ISO 6722-1:2011(E) standards, it ensures reliable and repeatable testing results for a wide range of industrial applications.

The tester operates on a spring-type falling weight mechanism, where a controlled mass (1 kg or 0.5 kg, depending on the model) is released onto the sample. The impact causes deformation, and the penetration depth is analyzed to determine the material’s impact resistance.

The IT-1Kg model evaluates samples by dropping a 1 kg weight, while the IT-0.5Kg model drops a 0.5 kg weight from 100 mm height. The sample is placed on a 40 mm thick foam rubber pad, ensuring consistent impact absorption and test accuracy.

This instrument is widely used in quality control laboratories for cables, wires, insulation materials, polymers, and other components where resilience to sudden force is crucial.
