The Cord Flexing Test Apparatus IS 1293 (FT-450) is a precision testing machine designed to evaluate the mechanical endurance, bending strength, and durability of flexible electrical cords. It ensures that cords used in plugs, socket-outlets, appliances, and household equipment meet the safety and performance requirements specified in IS 1293 standards.
Engineered for reliability and consistent performance, this apparatus delivers 60 flexing cycles per minute to simulate real-world mechanical stress. The integrated proximity sensor provides accurate cycle detection and smooth operation throughout the flexing test. Any one angle can be selected per instrument and has to be communicated before finalizing the product. Available angles: 60 Degree (30+30), 90 Degree (45+45), 120 Degree (60+60)
Separate Electrical Load Panel is provided along with the instrument for better heat dissipation. Resistive load can be changed via variac and it is set up to the required ampere value as per the IS standard @250VAC.
