The Decade Megohm Box DB-231 is a precision high-resistance calibration instrument designed for insulation testing, Megger applications, and high-value resistance measurements. Built with four resistance decades and additional fixed resistances up to 100 GΩ, it provides a wide, stable resistance range from 1 MΩ to 11.11 GΩ, making it ideal for laboratory and field testing.
Engineered to support high-voltage operation up to 5000 V, the DB-231 delivers reliable performance in demanding insulation and leakage-current testing environments. Lower ranges (1 MΩ to 100 MΩ) operate safely up to 1000 V, while higher ranges are fully rated for 5000 V use. The 1 MΩ and 10 MΩ dials can also operate at 5000 V when connected in series with a high-value decade, adding flexibility in high-voltage scenarios.
Constructed with nickel-plated rotary switching contacts mounted on durable fiberglass panels, the DB-231 ensures stable readings, low contact resistance, and long service life.
