Product Description
The Decade Megohm Box DB-251 is a precision high-resistance calibration instrument designed for Megger testing, insulation resistance measurement, and gigohm-level circuit evaluation. Engineered with six decades ranging from 0.1 MΩ to 111 GΩ, it provides highly stable and reliable resistance values for testing sensitive electronic equipment and insulation systems.
Built for demanding high-voltage applications, the DB-251 supports up to 1000 V for lower ranges and up to 5000 V for high-value ranges. Its versatile design also allows the 0.1 MΩ, 1 MΩ, and 10 MΩ dials to be safely operated at 5000 V when connected in series with high-value dials.
Constructed using nickel-plated contact switches mounted on durable fiberglass panels, the unit ensures long-term accuracy and mechanical stability. With a ±5% accuracy rating and 1-watt power handling at 50°C, this decade box is well-suited for both field testing and laboratory calibration.
An in-built dehumidifier provision inside the acrylic enclosure helps maintain stable readings even during monsoon or high-humidity conditions, making it exceptionally dependable year-round.
The DB-251 Decade Megohm Box is an indispensable tool for professionals handling high-resistance measurements, insulation testing, and calibration tasks requiring precision and stability.
